In the event of inclement weather, our experienced captains are skilled at navigating around storms and rain clouds. Most of the time, rain showers are brief and localized (and the forecast isn’t always accurate). We recommend waiting until 24-48 hours before the charter to assess the weather situation, as forecasts can change rapidly. You have the option to cancel up to 48 hours before the charter and receive a full refund. If heavy rain and storms pose dangerous or unfavorable conditions, resulting in the cancellation of the charter, you will also receive a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule. Rest assured that our captains monitor the weather closely and will contact you if conditions are unsuitable for the charter.
While we cannot guarantee anchoring at the sandbar, we typically anchor at the yacht club, where larger boats and yachts gather. Due to the boat’s size (44′), it requires 5 feet of water to float, making it challenging to anchor at the sandbar, especially when it’s crowded, typically on weekends. The captain will assess the situation on the day of the charter, but please understand that anchoring at the sandbar is not guaranteed. If your preference is to visit the sandbar, you may want to consider renting a smaller boat.
During the charter, we will pick you up in downtown Fort Lauderdale and cruise through the New River, offering views of downtown Fort Lauderdale, mega yachts, and multi-million dollar celebrity homes. We will anchor at the yacht club, providing you with a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy drinks, music, and leisure. Additionally, we can make a stop at a dockside restaurant for food and beverages.
No. We apologize, but the maximum allowed number of passengers is 13, as per the US Coast Guard regulations for a Bareboats Charter. Any charter exceeding this limit would be considered illegal and can result in serious consequences for both us and you. Safety is our top priority, and we must adhere to the regulations strictly. Any charter that compromises safety measures should be avoided.
Absolutely! You can add additional hours at any time during the charter at a discounted hourly price.
Yes, you are welcome to bring food and drinks aboard. Sandwiches or pre-cooked food are the easiest options. However, please refrain from bringing red wine, red juice, or any other red liquids that may stain the boat’s carpet and vinyl.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or need further assistance. We look forward to providing you with an enjoyable and memorable experience on our charter!
